Inside is a buzzing village of curious and creative people who are excited about tapping into the power and magic of textiles.
Eighteen years of teaching in public schools has taught me invaluable lessons about community-building and supporting creative growth and development. I want to help you connect to your own creativity and to other creative people, so I've built us this home: the QUILTY NOOK.
Here you'll find:
You can fit the whole QUILTY NOOK in your pocket. That's pretty cool.
In addition to all the resources I mentioned above, I'm also offering smaller, more intimate community experiences through Creative Cohorts: small groups (limited to eight participants each) which meet with me monthly for guided discussions
More information on details available inside THE NOOK or upon request.
By joining this community, you're not only investing in your own creative journey and you're also making it possible for me to sustain a life as a full-time textile artist, and for that, I thank you.
On that same note, I want this QUILTY NOOK community to be open and accessible to all. If you feel like you'd like to join but the finances are tight at the moment (money can be such a drag sometimes) please message me privately and we'll talk about other plans not shown below. I never want money to be the reason you decide not to join: the community needs your gifts, talents, and experiences!
BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folks are warmly invited to join 🧡
Your support makes it possible for me to support myself as a full-time artist. I thank you for considering membership, and if there's anything I can help with, please feel free to reach out.
